This striking bureau has gorgeous resin flowers and gold leaf detailing.
Crafted from solid wood with dovetail joints on each of the drawers. It has been carefully cleaned, sanded and prepared before painting with Fusion Mineral paint in Midnight Blue, then sealed for extra protection and to give a soft sheen to the finish. The back has also been painted. The insides of the drawers have been cleaned and oiled to nourish and enhance the woodgrain.
The original handles have been carefully cleaned and restored to their original lustre and gold leaf paint has been applied on the inside writing section. Hidden supports have been edged with blue velvet for the drop down section and it comes with it's original key. The bureau offers lots of storage with 4 small drawers and letter racks for personal items in the upper section and 4 large drawers below.
